Fight for beauty

With today's society quest for the perfect beauty continues, as young as five year old girls participate in a Barbie beauty contest in Prague, Czech republic. The young girls, promoted and highly encouraged by their parents, dress and make up and perform like adult beauty pageant models, showing great elation or distress at winning or losing. The Barbie, a fashion doll and beaty icon, has often been criticised by feminist and other groups for being an unrealistic (in some iterations even physically impossible) model of of woman beauty, degrading to women and sexist. All the while, it remains a popular girl toy doll.
